Whilst on display in St Anne's Square in October 2005 at the 'Manchester Food and Drink Festival', the 'Manchester Evening News' pictured this sculpture and declared it as: "the world's largest corkscrew". Possibly not a fact, but it is larger than most corkscrews and it works! that is, if you can find a bottle big enough.

The mundane object has been elevated in status into an object of art!
